Lorraine Hahn

Ms Hahn celebrates a twenty year career in journalism, focused on Asian business issues. She has developed a strong reputation as a presenter and talk-show host, demonstrating a strong understanding of Asian economic and political issues and being called-upon to interview business leaders, heads of state and other personalities, including 'live-on-stage' interviews.

Based in Hong Kong, Lorraine is currently developing and anchoring Earth Factor Asia, an educational environment video series being aired around the world, including Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) in the USA.

She has the distinction of having interviewed many of the world's top heads of state: Vladimir Putin, Vincente Fox, Abdullah Badawi, John Howard, Helen Clark, Gloria Macapagla-Arroyo, Megawati Soekarnoputri, Thaksin Shinawatra, as well as moderating business dialogue with some of the of the world's most powerful CEOs.

She has been called-upon to be the Master of Ceremony or chairperson of various major events that include the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, APEC CEO Meeting, The Global Leadership Forum (Malaysia) and the ADB Journalism Awards and many others. Ms Hahn has been invited by numerous organisations to help MC or moderate their corporate events, including Deutschebank, Johnson & Johnson, Lloyds, Sun Microsystems, Citibank and Invesco.

Ms Hahn is currently working on freelance TV programming. Until November 2006 she was host of CNN International's regional chat show, Talk Asia until November 2006, previously having anchored CNN's long-running Biz Asia (1998 -2000). She spent 3 years at CNBC hosting its flagship program, Business Tonight, as well as The Winners, Talk of Asia and NBC Asia Evening News. She was previously with Television Broadcasts Ltd. (TVB) and Hong Kong's first 24-hour radio station, Metro Broadcasting.

Lorraine has lectured at Hong Kong University and regularly gives talks on journalism and the media industry. She holds a degree in Business and English Literature from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. She was born in Singapore but emigrated to Canada.
